The company run by Lamberto Cesarini was born in 1982. At the beginning it produced only sugared almonds but after a few years also pralines were introduced. Chocolates became quickly the most important products of the company. Among theseveral kinds of pralines, there are “tenerelli”: delicious pralines stuffed with dry fruit (almonds, hazelnuts, sultanas, orange, fig and peanut brittle) covered with chocolate and sugar; the “dragees”, that is dried fruit covered with dark chocolate or white chocolate or milk chocolate. Then there are coffe beans (only made of arabic coffee) covered with black chocolate and delicious hazelnuts from Piedmont covered with black chocolate or white chocolate or milk chocolate. Now there are also other products such as the innovate biological barley covered with dark or milk chocolate, the “boeri” with liquor and a cherry and more and more its chocolate and raw materials, and above all the final quality of its pralines that are monitored from the beginning to the end of the manufacture. “Confetture Ellegi” is an artisanal company which closely cares of the quality of its products using only real chocolate with Cocoa butter. It guarantees the absolute authenticity of its products introducing also the use of some biological products like barley and brown sugar in its production cycle.
