The Muzzi dynasty history, confectioners in Foligno, starts over 200 years ago. It was the year 1795 when, in small confectionery workroom situated in the district called Cross, in the historic center of Foligno, Filippo Muzzi’s Master Tommaso, specilized in “Minuta” production, that is sugar-coated with anise heart, celebrated like Foligno deliciousness from the XV century. The production and the selling of sugar-coated almonds became an important deal and, for a period of ten years, fathers and sons produced these sugar deliciousness. Today the Muzzi ancient pastry-making confectionery finds in Mrs Loredana Muzzi the most important figure in this company, together with her three sons Filippo, Alfonso and Andrea.who have been continued the family tradition. Year after year, Muzzi confectionery has maintained its company policy of excellence, by continuing to use the highest standard of ingredients in all its products, as well as implementing its well established factory working process.
